When most people think of tablet computers, they mostly think about doctors or retail professionals using them. Tablet computers haven't exactly caught on in the mainstream, however times are changing and newer smaller tablet computers are making inroads.

Tablet computers are becoming more popular as they become smaller and are marketed towards the public. Originally used by professionals, today's tablet computers can be a great way to interact with your computer on the go without having to use a keyboard or carry around a laptop.

While tablet computers are extremely handy and able to do so much in such a small package, it may be a couple of years before they catch on to the public's imagination. Many people are first becoming accustomed to carrying around their media files and writing and sending email from on the go. It may take a couple of years before the public needs a more powerful tool.
