DVD Burners

Looking for a great way to create a back up of your movies, archive data or carry around your entire music collection? DVD burners can help you accomplish these tasks. DVD burners are similar to CD burners except they can hold lots more data on a single disc. DVD media looks and feels the same as CD media. CD media usually hold up to 700 MB of data. DVD media usually can hold up to 4.7 GB of data which is over 6 times the amount on a CD.

Many people love DVD burners, because they can archive their data very easy or transfer large amounts of data from one computer to another. DVD media is surprisingly inexpensive and costs about $.50 each. You can also buy archive DVD's which are extremely high quality. They usually can go for about $2 each and up. Archive DVD's can last over 100 years and provide you with a great way to store you most important data, videos and movies.

Most computers come today loaded with a DVD player. High end computers usually come with a DVD player and recorder. The difference in price is minimal and if you can upgrade, it is definitely recommended.
