If you use your computer for many purposes such as creating documents, spreadsheets, presentations or databases, you may find yourself with a difficult problem or unable to fix an error that you continually get. Most applications software doesn't have technical help. Yes, you might find some helpful tips, but to truly solve a problem, you probably need to talk to another person. Forums are a great way to get your questions answered and to help other people solve their own problems. If you are interested in participating in a computer application forum, here are some tips.

There are dozens of forums that talk about applications. Many people use Microsoft Office and continually have problems or questions on how to use it more effectively. There are huge forums that help you discuss your MS office products, some of them run by Microsoft itself.

Most people that create small software programs for specialized business include a forum with their purchase so that users can exchange tips and tricks on how to use the software more efficiently. You will be surprised at how much you can learn when you are in the loop. Most forums are free, or free to use with a software purchase, there are however forums that do cost money. These forums are usually for power users that need answers fast, or work on highly advanced uses of the software and don't want to be bombarded with newbie questions and email. So if you are use computer applications, look into forums for great answers to your questions.
